Don Watson

 

Don Watson has been designing and building custom cabinetry for over 35 years. 

 

Don was born in Roanoke Virginia and raised in Virginia Beach and Massachusetts.  He was an art major in college and started his career in woodworking as a carpenter building apartments and houses in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in the late 1970;s.  He moved to California in 1980 and was the lead remodel carpenter from 1980-1988 at the world famous Hotel del Coronado in San Diego.   To move closer to his family, Don moved to Tampa in 1988 and started Watson Cabinetry and Fine Woodworking.  

 

Don’s inspiration is creating artwork through woodworking.  He enjoys his work because every project is different and his favorite thing is seeing the look on his clients faces when a project is complete.
